The
Aprilia superbike range currently features 13 different designs including
the RSV 4 Factor, the RSV 4R, the RSV 1000 R, the Tuono 1000R, the Mana
850, the Dorsoduro 750, the Aprila 750 and 750 ABS, the SX 50 &
125 and the RS 50 & RS 125.

The
Aprilia RS 50cc
Think that you can only find lightweight
wheels, radial callipers, an aluminium frame and swingarm, and an under-seat
exhaust on a big bike?Well RS 50 is here to prove you wrong....because
these are the specifications of the Aprilia RS 50, the undisputed top
dog in the world of 50cc supersport motorcycles. The Aprilia RS 50 is
a genuine sports motorcycle, and comes packed with the sort of technology
normally found only on a GP racer. The main features of the RS 50 are:
• aluminium frame
• aluminium swingarm • lightweight wheels with ‘Y’
spokes
• radial caliper front brake
• Euro 2, two-stroke engine
• fairing based on that of the RSV 1000 R
• analog/digital instruments
The
Aprilia RS 125cc
The Aprilia RS 125 gives
young riders the best the market has to offer in terms of components
and equipment, with a concentration of technical refinements that are
simply not found on most superbikes. With a tried and tested yet extremely
sophisticated Rotax two stroke engine, a super-rigid aluminium frame
and swingarm, an analog/digital instrument panel with multi-functional
computer and an oval section racing silencer with riveted end plates.
The bike is available in a full power version (full bike license required)
and an 11kw version (only CBT required)
The
Aprilia SX & RX 50cc
Don’t be fooled
by the size of the 50cc engine. The RX and SX are real motorcycles,
and just at home on tough racing circuits as they are on the daily trip
from home to school or college. The Aprilia sx 50cc is fitted with 17"
wheels,
the RX has a 21" front wheel and 18" rear wheel with a 7ltr
tank capacity and a high strength steel frame. The ultra-compact digital
instruments feature an innovative design and perform a range of functions
to keep all parameters under constant control. Twin headlights add another
touch of personality and guarantee superior night-time visibility.
The long seat extends over the compact fuel tank to provide ample room
for movement under sport riding conditions. Tank capacity is 7 litres.
Considering the extremely limited fuel consumption of the 50 cc engine,
the Aprilia RX 50 and SX 50 therefore have plenty of autonomy for all
types of use.
The
Aprilia SX & RX 125cc
With its 17” wheels
and sports tyres, the SX is the obvious candidate for the prize of the
meanest 125 over mixed routes. Nippy and lightweight, the SX delivers
real ‘big bike’ performance without exceeding the power
restrictions imposed by law. Its refined, sprightly engine never lets
you down, even when ridden to the limit on a racetrack. he front brakes
feature a 260 mm disc and two-piston floating caliper while the back
brake incorporates a 220 mm disc and another floating piston. The RX
has all the same great features with the addition of 21" front
wheels and 18" rear wheels.

The
Aprilia RSV 4 Factory 1000cc
The
RSV 4 Factory has a 4 stroke, liquid cooled engine with 4 valves per
cylinder. The exhaust has a single lateral silencer with lambda probe
oxygen sensor and catalytic converter. The front brake has lightweight
stainless steel floating discs, Brembo monobloc radial calipers with
4 opposed pistons, sintered pads a radial master cylinder and a metal
braided brake line whilst the rear brake has a Brembo floating caliper
with 2 insulated pistons, sintered pads, a master cylinder with integral
reservoir and a metal braided brake line.
Visually this motorbike is simply stunning. Powerful in both appearance
and performance.
Brand
New Aprilia Shiver
The
new 2010 Shiver has landed. With a new sporty design making clear reference
to Aprilia racing heritage and three new colour options, the 2010 Shiver
offers more character and attitude than ever before.
Significant technical developments have been made to improve rider comfort,
handling and ease of use whilst still maintaining class leadership in
performance. The 2010 Shiver offers easier handling and re-assurance
to newly qualified and inexperienced riders.

The
key differences between the 2009 and 2010 models are:
New
front fairing: Designed to give a sporty, aggressive
look the new front fairing offers improved aerodynamics, directing wind
blast away from the riders’ body
New Racing graphics: Delivering a distinctly
Italian look and leveraging the Aprilia racing heritage. The new graphics
give the new Shiver a attractive, sporty attitude that match the machines
performance capabilities.
New saddle: Lower and slimmer (5cm), the
new seat design offers better comfort and control for riders of all
levels. Offering a re-assuring level of control for riders at stand
still
Narrower rear wheel: A reduction in rim
size from 6.00 to 5.50 gives more balanced handling and lighter steering.
Whilst improving grip and performance the lighter “turn-in”
also assists rider comfort and confidence.
Racing rear-sets: The new design and position
offers better rider comfort whilst enhancing the overall sporty look.
Re-positioned handle bars: A moderate adjustment
to the angle of forward inclination is designed to assist rider comfort
and benefit from the new fairing aerodynamics.
Wave discs: With braided hoses fitted as
standard this new disc design offers improved braking consistency in
all conditions and improves aesthetics.
Passenger foot rests: Re-positioned for added comfort to deliver the
ideal passenger seating position and feeling of security.
