There are three main types of motorcycle gloves available, racing, winter and summer. Motorbike racing gloves are usually made from leather with heavy duty inserts and knuckle protection. These are ideal for the race track or riders of top speed bikes. The winter gloves tend to be insulated with thermal linings and are usually waterproof. Summer bike gloves are designed for warmer weather with the scooter rider in mind as they usually have less knuckle / wrist protection so are not recommended for bikes over 300cc.
